Visitor Survey Results
The National Countrysports Fair is acknowledged as the premier celebration of country sports in Northern Ireland.  Our Annual Visitor Survey is compiled from a sample of over 800 visitor interviews. The statistics are used by the event organisers to help develop and improve the event and to provide our customers with accurate information on the show.




  • 98% of visitors said they would return the following year
  • Circa £2 million was spent inside the showground
  • £1.2 million was spent in the Lisburn City Area
  • Circa 1,000 bed nights were created in the area
  • 62% of visitors came from outside the Lisburn area
  • 84% of visitors came as part of a family group or club
  • 42% of visitors were female
  • The average age of visitors was 36
  • 49% of visitors said they enjoyed the stands best
  • 39% of visitors attended the show on both days
  • 99% of visitors rated the show as excellent or very good
  • 98% said they would return the following year
