The National Countrysports Fair
The National Countrysports Fair is Ireland's premier country sports event. This two-day show, held annually at Moira Demesne in rural Northern Ireland, is now recognised by Ireland's country sports community as the country's biggest and best country sports occasion.
The village of Moira in County Down is a picturesque and a convenient venue for the fair. Situated just 1/4
mile from the M1, Northern Ireland's main motorway, and within easy driving distance from the major Irish ports and airports, the mature parkland of Moira Demesne is the perfect setting for Ireland's premier country sports weekend.

The 14th annual fair will be held over the weekend of Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 May 2009.

Meet Emmerdale's Eric Pollard at the Fair

Visitors to this year's National Countrysports Fair will have the opportunity of meeting the likeable cad from the hit ITV series "Emmerdale."  Actor Chris Chittell who plays Eric Pollard, will spend all day Saturday at Moira Demesne where he hopes fans of the programme will come to meet and chat with him.  Chris will be taking part in a number of events including clay pigeon shooting, fly casting, falconry and sampling the wares of the International Food Festival
