Finding
the National Countrysports Fair
Finding your way to the National
Countrysports Fair at Moira Demesne on the weekend of 29 & 30
May really could not be simpler! The picturesque village of
Moira is situated just 16 miles south west of Belfast and is
literally a 1/4 mile from Northern Ireland's main Motorway
the M1.
This motorway runs in a east-west direction across
Northern Ireland and has excellent arterial links via
dual-carriageways and A class roads to Belfast international
Airport, The Ports of Belfast and Larne and, via the main
Belfast/Dublin Road, gives access to the Greater Dublin area.
Travelling from the West or
the North West of Ireland the route is equally simple, does not
require driving through any of the major towns and is via "A
Class" roads and motorways for the greater part.
A map of the main routes to Moira and the National Countrysports
Fair is provided below. The Village of Moira is marked with a
yellow circle on the red dot. Main routes from the Ports of
Belfast and Larne are indicated, as are routes from the south
and west of the country. The post code for Moira Demesne
is
BT67 0NL.
